Navy Group International actively contributes to the protection of the marine environment by providing sea surface cleaning services. Cleaning the surface of the sea from various floating objects, such as wood, plastic, seaweed, etc., is carried out through the use of specialized vessels. The draft of these vessels is very small, thus enabling them to perform surface cleaning services also in shallow waters. Due to the special construction these vessels have, they can gain access to the most difficult areas, for example, between boats or shallow surfaces, cleaning all types of waste from the sea surface.

The use of booms to contain and concentrate floating oil prior to its recovery by specialized skimmers is often seen a the ideal solution since, if effective, it would remove the oil from the marine environments.
Unfortunately, this approach suffers from a number of fundamental problems, not least of which is the fact that it in direct apposition the natural tendency of the oil to spread, fragment and disperse under the fragment and disperse under the influence of wind, waves and current, thus even if containment and collections system are operating within a few hours, of an initial release they will tend to encounter floating oil at an extremely low rate . because of this it is of this it is rare, even in ideal conditions, for more than a relatively small proportion(10-15%) of the spilled oil be recovered.
When containment and recovery is attempted it is important to select equipment that is suitable for the type of oil and the weather/sea conditions, efforts should target the heaviest oil concentrations and area where collection will reduce the like hood of oil impacting sensitive resources and shorelines
The Lamer Foam Filled Light Oil has Been designed to provide a quick and dependable means of oil containment
This concept is to provide refrigeration using steam jets rather than traditional compressor type chillers. This type of refrigeration is both economically and ecologically advantageous to the user.
Beach Sealing Boom can be used to seal the land/water interface in shallow water calm rivers or inter-tidal areas.
Heavy Duty Oil Boom covers increasing demand for a boom which is specially suited for use in open seas, harbors, semi-sheltered waters and permanent installations such as oil terminals and power plants.
The Lamer Inflatable Light Oil is manufactured in highly visible orange PVC coated woven DTEX 1100 polyester which is resistant to oils and sunlight. ILB is available in many different sizes .
GTC 140 is designed for efficient handling of viscous liquids , bulky solids and shear-sensitive liquids.
GTC range of centrifugal-screw pumps are driven by a built-on axial hydraulic motor rated accordingly to each model.
The MM 12 W/S is a light , portable suction type oil skimmer, designed to recover oil from share line, harbors, estuaries, rivers and lakes.
A flexible high capacity free-floating skimmer which is designed with interchangeable brush wheel, disc blanc , and drum modules in a triangular configuration.
The Oil Boom Guide Roll is an essential tool when deploying and retrieving heavy duty oil boom and larger deployments of Foam Filled Oil Boom.
